More time not listening to the radio....
Verizon Communications unveiled a partnership with DVD on site rental company, Redbox to start a new on line movie service and directly compete with Netflix.  They did not announce price and film inventory or specific plans for a video-streaming destination. But, they said it would begin in the second half of 2012. Meanwhile, Disney and Univision announced a partnership to begin a new all news channel. The channel will be in English but will target the fast growing demograph of second and third generation Hispanics who mostly speak English.  The channel likely would be broadcasting before the November presidential election.
