CNBC reported this afternoon that the deal to fund the purchase of Clear Channel has been reached with the banks signing on at $36 a share...originally the price was in the $39 per share range, but the economy had an impact on five banks willingness to finance the deal...A trial that was expected to begin today but has been postponed as BainCapital and Thomas H. CLEAR CHANNEL FUNDING DEAL "APPEARS IMMINENT"

The Wall Street Journal reports this morning that an agreement is close between the  partners (Thomas H. Lee Partners and Bain Capital LLC) who are buying out Clear Channel and the banks who are funding the deal.  According to the WSJ story the banks would go ahead with the financing at $36 a share, instead of the original $39.20.
