BIG DAY FOR THE AMERICANS AT WINTER OLYMPICS

Jaimee Grubbs and Rachel Uchitel could be South Florida’s next sports reporters.

 

WFTL 640 Sports has sent letters to both Grubbs and Uchitel’s attorney, Gloria Allred, hoping to set up a meeting to discuss an offer and opportunity to join the station’s sports department.

July 22nd, Simmons media drops Foxports and takes WFXX to a new "Urban-Sports talk" format targeted to African Americans in St. Louis.  The station has changed call letters back to 1490 AM/WESL.  All of the live local hosts will be African Americans as well.  Simmons also owns sports talk station KSLG-1380 AM as well..Dan Ceaser has complete story here in St. Louis Post Dispatch....
