101.9 RXP HIRES EVENING ON-AIR PERSONALITY BRIAN "PHILLIPS"


Phillips to be regular on-air personality weeknights, 7pm-midnight

101.9 RXP (WRXP) "The New York Rock Experience" has announced that Brian Phillips will be joining the station as their evening on-air personality, weeknights from 7pm-midnight.  Brian will be heard weeknights from 7pm to midnight as "Phillips."

Phillips, a Brooklyn native, comes to RXP from New Jersey's modern rock
outlet WHTG/WBBO (G Rock 106.3 / 106.5) where he served as Assistant
Program Director, Music Director and co-host of the highly rated morning
show "Brian & Jen."  Prior to G Rock 106.3, Phillips started his career within
the Marketing Department at WHTZ (Z100) in New York, and spent several
years in California within various record industry and radio roles including
nights at Soundbreak.com as their rock host.

said Emmis New York Music Director/Afternoon Drive host, Bryan Schock.  "He
is just the person we were looking for.  His personality and background in the
industry strongly mirrors the music and audience of 101.9 RXP.we are very

Phillips is the second full time air personality to land at 101.9 RXP along with
Music Director & Afternoon Drive Host Bryan Shock.   Part time personalities
can currently be heard on 101.9 RXP filling the still open morning, midday and
overnight shifts, including:

Dave Greek - Dave's past experience includes positions at Alternative Rock
stations WFNX in Boston and Y101 in Richmond, Virginia.  When he's not on-
air at 101.9 RXP, Dave can be seen around town playing in various bands and
performing standup comedy.

Greg Russ - Greg came to RXP from WNNX 99X, Atlanta's New Rock and
Alternative Station where he served as the evening on-air host and station
specialist in finding local rock talent.

Paul Cavalconte - Paul has been a major on-air presence in New York Radio,
working for iconic stations like WNEW, WNCN, WAXQ, WLIR and most recently
on the same frequency at WQCD. 

Jennifer Kajzer - Jennifer was born in Brooklyn and raised in Staten Island and
has worked on-air at several Rock stations on Sirius Satellite Radio and was a
contributing writer for the Aquarian Weekly and East Coast Rocker, New
Jersey's only music newspaper.  Jen was also a staffer at Blender and Maxim
Magazines and was within management at local WSOU radio.

101.9 RXP launched February 5th, 2008 and represents a new Adult Rock
station in the New York tri-state market which merges New Music, Classic
Rock, Alternative & Local Rock into a new adult blend called "The New York
